In 2016, Acuva™ launched its first UVC LED-based water treatment system in the United States, and quickly expanded its reach to over 20 countries. Acuva™ products have served customers in residential, recreational, commercial, and remote settings — wherever there is a need for efficient, mercury-free, and future-proof water disinfection. The company has always stayed true to its purpose, developing products not just for established markets, but also with a long-term vision of improving access to safe drinking water in developing regions.

In the autumn of 2024, Watersprint® proudly acquired Acuva’s intellectual property portfolio, with a deep respect for the brand and its achievements.
